Job Description
Role Description
We are seeking a Partner Operations Specialist who blends operational rigor, partner‑facing communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast‑evolving environment. This role is responsible for designing, documenting, and executing a Proof of Performance (PoP) validation process that can scale, withstand audit scrutiny, and support AI‑assisted workflows.
This is not a pure project manager role. The ideal candidate is a hybrid operator + partner engagement specialist who can apply judgment, influence process design, and coach partners through new validation expectations.
The PoP framework centers on three partner influence archetypes, each requiring clear, binary, defensible validation criteria and acceptable evidence artifacts:
- Deal Origination (“Bring a Deal”) – Value Discovery
- Deal Closure Support (“Critical to Close”) – Value Definition
- Post‑Sales Success & Adoption – Value Realization
Key Responsibilities
-
Proof of Performance (PoP) Validation
- Review and validate partner submissions across origination, closure support, and post‑sales success influence categories.
- Execute human validation checks following AI‑assisted screening to ensure accuracy, defensibility, and consistency.
- Collaborate with Account Executives and operations teams to ensure timely and well‑documented validation outcomes.
-
Process Design & Optimization
- Develop and refine industry‑standard PoP criteria, defining minimum acceptable evidence and non‑qualifying artifacts.
- Draft comprehensive documentation including validation criteria, process flows, evidence definitions, and pass/fail examples.
- Work with finance, compliance, sales, and operations stakeholders to ensure criteria are auditable, scalable, and enforceable.
-
Dry‑Run Audits & Pilot Feedback Loop
- Build and conduct dry‑run audits using real customer/partner scenarios to pressure‑test validation logic.
- Produce clear audit reports outlining findings, gaps, exceptions, and recommended refinements.
- Iterate PoP documentation based on pilot outcomes and stakeholder feedback.
-
Partner Engagement & Enablement
- Guide partners through the PoP criteria, evidence expectations, and submission process.
- Develop partner‑facing readiness materials (workshops, webinars, enablement content) explaining how to demonstrate influence.
- Provide insights from partner feedback to inform criteria adjustments and workflow improvements.
Qualifications
- Experience in partner operations, channel programs, governance, or compliance.
- Exposure to validation, audit, claims review, or similar adjudication environments to establish measurable proof of performance KPIs for partners.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and cross‑functional coordination.
- High attention to detail with a focus on fairness, accuracy, and defensibility in validation decisions.
- Demonstrated ability to produce structured documentation (criteria, flows, checklists).
- Familiarity with MDF programs, incentives, demand generation, or deal registration workflows.
- Partner‑facing experience across ISVs, advisors, resellers, or other ecosystem roles.
Benefits
- Medical, dental & vision
- Critical Illness, Accident, and Hospital
- 401(k) Retirement Plan – Pre-tax and Roth post-tax contributions available
- Life Insurance (Voluntary Life & AD&D for the employee and dependents)
- Short and long-term disability
- Health Spending Account (HSA)
- Transportation benefits
- Employee Assistance Program
- Time Off/Leave (PTO, Vacation or Sick Leave)
