• Analyze, monitor, and influence legislation, regulations, and emerging issues affecting the industry • Build and maintain relationships with key policymakers on Capitol Hill, government officials, agencies, and industry associations • Establish and sustain collaborative relationships with leading patient advocacy and professional associations • Conduct direct one-on-one meetings to advocate for the company’s objectives • Evaluate the executive, regulatory, and legislative environment to identify risks and opportunities • Provide senior leadership with thorough briefings including recommended actions based on the latest developments • Cultivate and maintain relationships with Administration officials • Enhance internal understanding of the federal policymaking process
