BODYARMOR is looking for a Retail Execution Lead to join our team.

The Retail Execution Lead is responsible for driving superior in‑market execution across the advanced hydration portfolio. This role leads a team of Retail Execution Specialists (RES) and Senior RES, ensuring consistent adherence to BODYARMOR/Powerade retail standards, developing talent, and partnering cross‑functionally to deliver sales and execution excellence at scale.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead & Develop the Retail Execution Team
    • Direct, coach, and support a team of Retail Execution Specialists and Senior RES to deliver executional excellence and business growth.
    • Conduct regular market visits to inspect execution, reinforce expectations, and provide real‑time coaching.
    • Ensure consistent delivery against the BODYARMOR/Powerade “Look of Success” standards across all retail accounts.
  • Drive Best‑in‑Class Retail Execution
    • Champion incremental displays, merchandising execution, and activation that accelerate brand visibility and availability.
    • Ensure flawless execution of programming, promotions, distribution, and display requirements.
    • Partner closely with field, key account, and execution teams to align priorities and maintain clarity of expectations.
  • Talent Development & Capability Building
    • Utilize enterprise sales training resources and identify additional learning needs to elevate team capabilities.
    • Build development plans tailored to individual skill gaps and team-wide improvement areas.
    • Foster a high-performance, accountable culture through structured coaching, performance check-ins, and recognition.
  • Performance Management & Market Analytics
    • Use reporting tools and scorecards to analyze performance, identify gaps, and drive action plans at the store and territory level.
    • Interpret market data to uncover opportunities, address deficiencies, and track weekly execution progress.
    • Communicate performance trends and priorities consistently across team members and partner groups.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration & Alignment
    • Collaborate with commercial, key account, bottler, and field leaders to ensure alignment on execution standards and success metrics.
    • Communicate activation plans, priorities, and expectations clearly to all stakeholders.
    • Represent the retail execution perspective in planning sessions and post-event performance reviews.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required or relevant experience
  • 5+ years DSD or Account Management experience required
  • Beverage industry experience preferred
  • Must be located within the CCCI territories
  • Must be self-motivated, coachable, and highly organized with a strong desire to grow and produce results 
  • High level of professionalism and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Proactive approach with entrepreneurial skill set
  • Microsoft Office proficiency 
  • Ability & willingness to lift 40-50lbs
  • Exceptional communication skills and ability to concisely articulate initiatives and actionable steps to broader team and distributor partners. 
  • Team player who easily works cross-functionally with other team members to develop and implement sales, corporate and field marketing initiatives at the customer level.   
  • Must be able to quickly assess the needs of the business, develop an action plan & manage the required change. The ability to effectively intermingle with a wide variety of business professionals is essential. 
  • Must have a passion for brand building and long-term growth. 
  • Must be computer efficient in Microsoft Office, customer specific sales reporting as well as syndicated IRI and/or Nielsen data.
  • Position requires substantial travel (75%-85%) within the geographic territories.
  • Must hold and maintain a valid driver's license and be able to drive long distances Motor Vehicle Records must satisfy Company standards per Driving Policy
  • Experience working with bottler systems or franchise bottling partners.
  • Previous experience in sales, field execution, or customer development roles.
  • Familiarity with retail execution tools, dashboards, and internal reporting systems.
  • Experience leading field teams in beverage, CPG, or retail operations.
  • Strong understanding of retail execution fundamentals, merchandising standards, and display strategy.
  • Ability to analyze data, draw insights, and build action-oriented plans.

Pay Range:

$119,000 - $145,800

Base pay offered may vary depending on geography, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position, is offered.
