Job Description
• Lead the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Software Platform’s API ecosystem
• Ensure APIs are developer-friendly, secure, scalable
• Own the end-to-end API product lifecycle including design, documentation, governance, versioning, monetization
• Deliver exceptional developer experience and robust security/compliance
• Establish KPIs such as API uptime, usage growth, developer NPS
• Conduct developer research and build feedback loops
• Influence platform architecture and evaluate API management tools
Job Requirements
- 10-15 years in product management
- 5+ years owning API platforms or integrations in SaaS
- Deep understanding of API design and systems
- Proven track record launching and scaling APIs
- Experience with API lifecycle management and strategies
- Technical fluency in API standards, protocols, auth/security
- Strong analytical skills for modeling metrics and impact
- Executive influence with leaders across teams
- Experience with API monetization and partner ecosystems
- Familiarity with AI/ML integrations via APIs
