Role Description
Ultragenyx is preparing for the potential commercialization of a rare disease Antisense oligonucleotide therapy for the treatment of Angelman Syndrome. We are seeking a highly analytical, collaborative MBA Intern to support global launch readiness with a specific focus on Phase 3 (Ph3) data-driven scenario planning. This role will help design and execute workstreams and trigger-based plans that activate when Ph3 data become available.
- Build a scenario framework for anticipated Ph3 readouts (primary/secondary endpoint outcomes, safety profile ranges, subpopulation signals, sensitivity analyses).
- Work with the cross-functional team to design decision trees and activation triggers linked to each scenario, mapping implications for updating all global materials.
- Define insight needs (ad boards, message testing, ATUs, discrete choice/TPP trade-offs, analog analysis) triggered by each scenario.
- Recommend governance cadence (war room / stand-ups, escalation paths, decision logs) for the 0–90 days post-readout window.
Qualifications
- Current MBA student (rising 2nd year or equivalent) with a focus in Marketing, Strategy, Healthcare Management, or Finance.
- 2–3+ years pre-MBA experience in biopharma, life sciences consulting, healthcare investing/analytics, or related.
- Strong strategic thinking and structured problem solving; comfort with ambiguity and scenario-based planning.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
