Role Description

The Title Coordinator works with multiple parties to coordinate the resolution and completion of the title process.

  • Monitors and tracks the workflow from searcher and contractors.
  • Coordinates multi-site project intake and transaction management.
  • Verifies file completeness, obtains outstanding title documents, and approves completed files.
  • Performs special projects.
  • Assists with title production support services.

What You'll Do:

  • Serve as a point of contact regarding the search product providing subject matter expertise to resolve escalated issues arising from search discrepancies.
  • Research property details and look for back title on orders to confirm accuracy; coordinate with clients and searchers to reconcile discrepancies.
  • Keep responsible parties abreast of status or issues regarding title orders; direct questions to responsible parties.
  • May participate in business development activities to maintain existing clients and acquire new clients.
  • Proactively contact vendors to ensure timely delivery of completed searches, escalate past due search requests, address issues with completed searches, and keep system updated.
  • May assist offshore team by answering questions and resolving escalated issues.
  • Utilize company operating systems to coordinate/manage workflow, produce products and respond to customer requests.

Qualifications

  • Strong MS Office skill set
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to analyze, compare, interpret and process data
  • Ability to multi-task and perform intense and accurate document review
  • Strong knowledge of company and/or client operating systems
  • High School diploma or equivalent; some college preferred
  • 4+ years’ experience in escrow/title or curative lender role
  • HUD or closing experience is a plus

Requirements

  • Pay Range: $23.37 - $31.15 Hourly, Remote
  • This hiring range is a reasonable estimate of the base pay range for this position at the time of posting.
  • Pay is based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business requirements and geographic location.
