About the Role

OpenLoop is looking for a Director of Workplace to join our team remotely or at HQ in Des Moines, IA. In this role you will lead the design and operation of OpenLoop’s physical workplace strategy building collaboration-first spaces that support our people, culture, and healthcare operations as we scale.

 

What You'll Do

  • Own and operate OpenLoop’s global office strategy, aligning physical spaces with business needs and company growth.

  • Design, operate, and optimize a portfolio of collaboration hubs, operational offices, and enterprise coworking spaces, including WeWork and similar partners

  • Lead site strategy, buildouts, security, and day-to-day operations across current and future locations (U.S. and international)

  • Build and manage on-site workplace teams (e.g., front desk and hourly staff) and external vendors

  • Partner closely with Legal, People & Culture, Finance, IT, and Security to ensure compliant, secure, and scalable workplaces, especially in healthcare-adjacent environments

  • Support supply chain and healthcare distribution operations by upleveling workspace compliance, logistics, and operational rigor

  • Optimize workplace footprint and real estate decisions to meet 50-state presence requirements while managing cost and utilization 

 

Who You Are

  • A strategic and hands-on leader who understands how physical space drives culture and performance

  • Experienced in workplace, real estate, facilities, or operations leadership within complex or regulated environments

  • Comfortable operating across corporate and healthcare-adjacent settings, including compliance and security requirements

  • Skilled at scaling multi-site, distributed operations with limited existing playbooks

  • A strong cross-functional partner who collaborates effectively with Legal, PC, Finance, and executive stakeholders

  • Energized by ambiguity and motivated to build something new
