Role Description

This role involves providing counseling services to children, adolescents, and families through telehealth.

• Conduct individual and parent therapy sessions via telehealth
• Provide family therapy for parents of children ages 3+ with verbal communication skills
• Provide individual one-on-one therapy with children ages 5+, pending clinical evaluation
• Perform initial assessments, behavioral observations, and both short- and long-term interventions
• Develop individualized treatment plans
• Provide psychoeducation to clients and families
• Collaborate with internal team members and other disciplines to ensure coordinated, comprehensive care
• Maintain targeted caseload hours of 25 billable therapy hours per week

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in counseling or social work from a CACREP/CSWE accredited university
• LCPC or LCSW licensure in the state of Illinois
• Prior experience working with children and families

• Passionate about supporting children, teens, and families through emotional, social, and behavioral challenges
• Comfortable working autonomously, providing counseling services via telehealth
• Ability to adapt communication style to each child’s developmental level
• Strong clinical judgment and ability to tailor interventions to each child’s unique needs
• Committed to ongoing learning, clinical excellence, and contributing to a positive, family-centered therapy experience
• Available to work Tuesday - Saturday, based on client scheduling needs
