Job Description
In this role, you will be the first point of contact for prospective clients, researching target accounts, conducting high-volume outbound outreach, and identifying business pain points to bridge the gap between marketing and sales. This is a performance-driven, high-energy position designed to build a strong pipeline and accelerate your career in technology sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Outbound Prospecting: Generate new business opportunities by identifying key decision-makers and engaging them via cold calls, personalized emails, and LinkedIn outreach.
- Lead Qualification: Qualify inbound marketing leads and outbound prospects based on BANT (Budget, Authority, Need, Timeline) criteria.
- Appointment Setting: Schedule discovery calls and product demos for Account Executives, ensuring a smooth handoff of qualified, high-intent opportunities.
- CRM Management: Maintain accurate, real-time records of all activities, lead interactions, and notes in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, or Outreach).
- Research & Intelligence: Conduct research on target accounts to understand their business challenges and tailor messaging.
- Sales Target Achievement: Consistently meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly quotas for activities (dials/emails) and qualified meetings booked.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Marketing to align on messaging and support campaign follow-ups.
Requirements and Skills
- Experience: 1–3 years in sales, inside sales, or business development (SaaS or tech experience preferred).
- Resilience: High level of tenacity and grit; ability to handle rejection and maintain high activity levels.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication, with the ability to build rapport quickly.
- Tech Savviness: Proficiency with, or ability to quickly learn, CRM tools (Salesforce/HubSpot) and sales engagement platforms (LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Outreach, ZoomInfo).
- Coachability: Highly coachable, with a desire to learn and receive constructive feedback.
- Time Management: Highly organized with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required.

- Making 50–100+ outbound calls/day.
- Sending 50–100+ personalized emails.
- Researching prospective clients on LinkedIn.
- Participating in team sales training and prospecting sessions.
