Role Description
We are seeking an experienced Cloud & GCC High Migration Project Manager to lead cloud infrastructure and Microsoft 365 migration projects for organizations operating in regulated environments, including government contractors and defense industry clients.
This role focuses on delivering Azure infrastructure deployments, Microsoft 365 migrations, and Azure Government (GCC High) implementations while coordinating internal cloud engineering teams and client stakeholders.
The ideal candidate has experience managing technical cloud migration projects, understands the complexity of Microsoft Government environments, and can successfully coordinate cross-functional teams delivering secure cloud platforms.
This is a client-facing leadership role responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on schedule, within scope, and aligned with regulatory and security requirements.
What You'll Do
- Lead delivery of Azure infrastructure, Microsoft 365, and cloud migration projects
- Manage Azure Government (GCC High) migrations, including tenant provisioning and data migration planning
- Coordinate work between Azure Architects, Cloud Engineers, Security teams, and client stakeholders
- Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and migration schedules
- Track project progress and ensure technical milestones are met
- Facilitate communication between engineering teams and clients
Responsibilities
- Manage government cloud infrastructure deployment and migration projects
- Coordinate Azure Government and GCC High tenant migrations
- Develop project timelines, milestones, and resource plans
- Track engineering hours, deliverables, and project budgets
- Coordinate cloud architects, administrators, and migration engineers
- Serve as the primary communication point for client stakeholders
- Ensure proper documentation and technical handoff for completed projects
- Monitor project scope and manage change requests
- Maintain project status reporting for leadership
- Identify project risks related to compliance, security, or infrastructure
- Ensure government cloud and GCC High projects meet delivery deadlines
Qualifications
- Experience managing Government cloud infrastructure deployment projects is a must
- Experience supporting Microsoft Azure and GCCH 365 migrations
- Familiarity with Azure Government or GCC High environments
- Experience coordinating technical cloud engineering teams
- Familiarity with NIST 800-171 or CMMC environments
- PMP or similar project management certification required
- 3+ Years in Azure/GCCH Project Management
Job Requirements
