Overview

Merchandising Field Supervisor for the World’s Largest Gift Card Company

 

Blackhawk Network is seeking a remote Merchandising Field Supervisor to manage a team of gift card merchandisers in our Great Lakes District. The position would be based out of either OH or MI. The primary responsibilities would be hiring, training, and mentoring gift card merchandisers who serve multiple retailers in various trade classes. The position would report to the Merchandising District Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise, train, and audit merchandisers to ensure compliance with company policies and objectives. Audit would be done live and/or call report survey review via computer.
  • Manage the recruitment lifecycle, including interviewing and hiring for open positions.
  • Maintain a field presence 2–3 days per week to evaluate retail conditions and store management satisfaction.
  • Utilize online reporting, mobile tablets, and AI tools to monitor visit quality and establish actionable performance plans.
  • Support leadership with market tours, project assignments, and coverage for District Managers as needed.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of supervisory or lead experience in the merchandising industry.
  • Hands-on experience managing gift card programs or similar in-store merchandising initiatives.
  • Strong technical skills (MS Office, reporting tools, tablets, web portals).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to travel 25–50%, within district that is scheduled and or last-minute requests.
  • Home Wi-Fi and ability to attend corporate meetings as needed.
  • Results-driven, with a focus on customer, retailer, and program success.
  • Experience leveraging AI tools or other systems to streamline processes and improve measurable results is a plus.
