Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Precertification Nurse (Precert Nurse) will be assigned specific departments/services for which they will handle all precertification needs.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Graduate certificate from an accredited school of nursing, LPN or RN program, required
- Current MS state license, required
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
- Ability to maintain composure when confronted with fast-paced and stressful situations/timelines
- Ability and desire to learn new technologies
- Must be timely and dependable
- Must be able to multi-task, work independently and be very detail oriented
- Must have excellent written and oral communication skills
- Must be able to complete documentation accurately
- Must be able to follow existing workflows
WORK SCHEDULE:
Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 5:00PM
