Role Description

The Staff Technical Program Manager plays a key role in delivering complex, product-driven technical programs that advance Priority’s platform capabilities and customer impact. This role drives end-to-end execution of cross-functional initiatives, aligning Product, Engineering, and Design teams around clear milestones, dependencies, and measurable outcomes. The position requires strong technical fluency, structured program leadership, and the ability to translate strategy into scalable execution plans. You will collaborate closely with business and technical stakeholders to ensure programs support strategic objectives, customer satisfaction, and long-term platform growth.

  • Leads end-to-end delivery of complex, cross-functional technical programs aligned to product and platform strategy
  • Partners with Product, Engineering, and Design to define roadmaps, milestones, and execution plans
  • Manages dependencies across multiple teams and proactively mitigates risks and blockers
  • Facilitates alignment between business stakeholders and technical teams on scope, architecture considerations, and delivery tradeoffs
  • Establishes governance structures, reporting mechanisms, and communication rhythms for program transparency
  • Tracks progress against defined KPIs and ensures programs deliver measurable outcomes
  • Drives clarity across competing priorities and ensures focus on highest-impact initiatives
  • Mentors and supports program managers and cross-functional contributors to strengthen execution practices
  • Continuously improves program management processes to increase predictability and delivery quality

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience as a Technical Program Manager or in a comparable technical delivery leadership role
  • Experience leading large-scale, cross-functional product or platform initiatives
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycles and technical architecture concepts
  • Ability to decompose complex initiatives into structured execution plans
  • Proven experience managing dependencies, risks, and competing priorities
  • Strong communication skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Proficiency with tools such as Jira, Confluence, and reporting platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)

Requirements

  • Experience in fintech or another regulated environment
  • Familiarity with Voice of the Customer (VoC) processes and user feedback integration
  • Technical background in software development or systems architecture
