Role Description
The Senior Business Analyst/Product Owner will work closely with the C&S Medicaid Care Management leadership to identify functional requirements and advise the business on best systematic practices for large projects with cross functional impact.
- Support the C&S Care Management Implementations and Business Analysis Lead efforts
- Work closely with Solution Architects and the Scrum Team to ensure documented requirements are met
- Translate requirements into solutions for the clinical application within an Agile work stream
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert for Clinical Care Management Projects
- Understand and discuss the Care Management application and implications of changes to clinical processes, policies, and procedures
- Healthcare software application configuration
- Assess, interpret, and analyze customer needs and requirements
- Write and document business requirements in Epics/Features and User Stories
Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree and/or equivalent experience
- 7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst/Product Owner facilitating and documenting requirements
- 5+ years of problem-solving experience, including prioritizing multiple tasks, priorities, projects, and deadlines
- 3+ years healthcare work experience with Medicaid populations and Medicaid Care Management
- 2+ years of experience working with all phases of Agile, including Epic and User Story development
- 1+ years of experience in Technical writing (training materials and/or User story)
- 1+ years of experience mentoring and/or developing staff
- Experience gathering business requirements from business leadership
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree in IT (preferred)
- 1+ year Testing (UAT) experience (preferred)
- Experience with Jira (preferred)
- Experience with GuidingCare (preferred)
- Experience with use and configuration of healthcare software applications (preferably clinical software) (preferred)
- Experience as a Solutions Analyst (preferred)
- Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize deliverables
- Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and use computer software tools effectively (Healthcare/Medicaid)
- Proven ability to work in a highly virtual and matrixed environment
- Proven excellent written and verbal communication skills
