Role Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Director, Finance to lead the core FP&A function for Brightside Health. Reporting to the CFO, you will play a central role in helping leadership understand the financial implications of strategic decisions, build scalable financial infrastructure, and translate complex financial data into clear insights. Ultimately, you will be crucial in maintaining robust financial processes and supporting the company's financial goals.

  • Drive the annual budget process and monthly forecast reviews.
  • Contribute to due diligence for new lines of business and acquisitions.
  • Oversee and develop a high-impact team of two.
  • Partner with various departments to refine and standardize financial processes.
  • Maintain accurate filing systems for financial statements and documentation.
  • Help execute updates to policies, procedures, and standardized reporting.
  • Oversee preparation of board materials, financial analyses, and executive reporting.
  • Ensure all financial operations adhere to internal controls and industry regulations.
  • Build scalable financial infrastructure, processes, and reporting systems to support continued company growth.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a closely related field of study. Master’s preferred.
  • 5+ years of related finance experience with budgeting and forecasting responsibilities.
  • Proven track record of effective budgeting, forecasting, and analytical reporting.
  • Ability to translate financial data into executive-level insights and inform strategic business decisions.
  • Strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
  • Detail-oriented, with a commitment to accuracy and process improvement.
  • Demonstrated leadership in managing teams and aligning stakeholders toward shared financial objectives.
