Job Description
The Mission
For over 10 years, New Law Business Model (NLBM) has been on a mission to liberate lawyers from outdated, soul-crushing practice models. We provide the heart-centered framework—Life & Legacy Planning®—and the high-octane membership products required to build thriving, relational firms. With a community of 800+ Personal Family Lawyer® firms nationwide, we leverage elite AI and automation to amplify humanity, delivering the practical education, tools, and "done-for-you" systems lawyers need to reclaim their time and build a lasting legacy. We obsess over real-world outcomes, not just vibes, to ensure our members move from survival mode to true flourishing.
The Hook
You’ll love this opportunity if you’re the rare combo of strategic marketer + practical copywriter who can turn “here’s the concept” into member-ready assets that get used immediately (emails, posts, landing page copy, templates, scripts). You ship on cadence, you’re allergic to fluff, and you can write in a voice that’s confident, clear, and conversion-friendly – just like our lawyer customers.
You should not apply if you want a big brand-awareness playground, hate feedback loops, or prefer long timelines over weekly delivery.
What You’ll Do
You’ll support our Memberships product by building the done-for-you marketing assets members need to execute on what they’re learning and grow their practices.
Pillar 1: Member-ready marketing assets
Write and produce assets members can deploy fast: weekly blog content and matching social posts, email templates, nurture sequences, landing page copy, scripts.
Adapt content by membership tier (Core vs Premium) and learning milestones.
Maintain high standards for clarity, brand voice, and usability.
Pillar 2: Training + enablement materials
Help translate curriculum into implementation resources: simple playbooks, guides, checklists, short instructional videos (where relevant).
Improve existing assets based on member feedback and product direction.
Pillar 3: Product partnership
Work closely with the Memberships Product Manager to align deliverables to the product roadmap and the member experience.
Coordinate with internal partners and occasional vendors as needed.
What “A Good Week” Looks Like
You ship a clean set of member-facing assets on schedule.
You proactively flag gaps (“members need X next”) and propose solutions.
You tighten what exists instead of reinventing for sport.
Who You Are
You’ll thrive if you:
Are a strong copywriter who can think like a strategist.
Can turn complex inputs into clear, usable deliverables.
Understand customer psychology and can write for action (not applause).
Are reliable: you communicate clearly, hit deadlines, and iterate fast.
Have good judgment (especially when content touches regulated/professional services).
Assets (nice-to-haves):
Experience in education-based products, memberships, coaching programs, or communities.
Familiarity with marketing for professional services (bonus if legal, but not required).
Comfort creating lightweight training content (short videos, guided resources).
Compensation: The Budget for this project is approximately $3500-$5000 USD per month. Final compensation will be based on the contractor's experience, location, and the final agreed-upon scope of work.
Contractor note: This is a business-to-business contract engagement. As a contractor, you are responsible for your own taxes, equipment, and insurance, and are not eligible for employee benefits (health plans, FTO policies, etc.)
This role operates under a Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) model. Employees are expected to provide their own computer and internet connection, meeting minimum requirements (including at least 16GB RAM) to perform work duties. The company provides required software and system access, and reimburses reasonable and necessary business expenses as required by law.
New Law Business Model is an equal opportunity organization. We value a diverse workforce and an inclusive culture. All qualified practitioners are encouraged to apply.
