Job Description
Role Description
We're now looking for a Product Designer to support our growth and join our Provet Cloud team! Reporting directly to the Head of Product Design , your main goal is to dramatically improve the quality and usability of our veterinary software. In this role, you will own end-to-end design for key product areas, working closely with product and engineering to simplify workflows, remove friction, and raise the bar of what our users experience every day.
This is a unique opportunity to shape the UX of a product used by thousands of veterinary professionals worldwide, at a moment where design has a genuine seat at the leadership table.
- Own the design of core workflows in Provet Cloud, from problem framing through to shipping and iteration
- Radically simplify complex veterinary workflows with fewer clicks, clearer navigation, and faster task completion
- Design for real clinic constraints: 15–17 inch monitors, limited screen real estate, and users under genuine workflow pressure
- Participate in structured critique rituals and contribute to an open, honest feedback culture
- Collaborate closely with product managers and engineers to ensure design quality is maintained through to release
- Use AI tools (prototyping, flow exploration, friction detection) as a standard part of your design process
- Conduct friction passes before shipping and plan for iteration after launch
- Contribute to raising the overall UX standard of the product towards enterprise grade
Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience, gained in a fast growing, global SaaS company
- 2-3 years of experience as a product designer
- Experience designing complex, workflow-heavy products (healthcare, fintech, logistics or similar domains are a plus)
- Think in systems, not just screens. Start with user flows, define problems clearly, and show constraint thinking
- Bias towards simplification. Instinctively ask "could this be 30% simpler?" and challenge inherited patterns
- Comfortable designing for dense, information-rich interfaces that feel calm and controlled rather than cluttered
- Ability to take and give direct, constructive feedback. Thrive in a culture of open critique, not private consensus
- Growth mindset. Genuinely curious, always learning, and actively looking for ways to raise your own standard
- Experience with AI-assisted design workflows and vibe coding is desirable
- Care about craft and taste, but in service of function, not decoration
- Fluent in English
Benefits
- The chance to work in a meaningful industry and in a fast-growing, global company on a path to changing digital healthcare
- A fully remote environment with asynchronous communication
- Endless learning and professional growth opportunities
- The tools you need, and enjoy using
- Amazing company events and great colleagues from around the world
