Job Summary:
We are seeking a Technical Onboarding Specialist to support adoption and training for modern data and AI platforms. This role will work closely with technical teams to translate complex platform capabilities into clear onboarding materials, structured training programs, and user-friendly documentation. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Lakehouse architectures, Databricks environments, and technical enablement for data engineers, analysts, and ML practitioners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct user training sessions and FAIR data bootcamps for technical and non-technical users.
• Develop onboarding materials, training labs, templates, and knowledge base documentation.
• Capture requirements from technical staff and translate them into accessible materials for broader audiences.
• Design and deliver structured onboarding programs for Data Engineers, Analysts, and ML practitioners.
• Provide hands-on technical assistance to users working within the platform.
• Support governance activities, including data stewardship and bias detection exercises.
• Assist with change management efforts to ensure successful platform adoption.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to continuously improve onboarding processes and materials.

Skills/Qualifications:

• Strong ability to organize and capture requirements from technical staff and translate them for non-technical users.
• Deep understanding of Lakehouse architecture and modern data platforms.
• Experience with Databricks SQL and MLflow.
• Hands-on experience with Databricks features such as Unity Catalog, privilege models, and workspace administration.
• Experience designing and delivering structured onboarding programs and technical training.
• Strong understanding of change management and user adoption strategies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience supporting data engineering, analytics, or ML platform environments.
• Experience creating technical documentation, knowledge bases, and training materials.
• Experience supporting data governance initiatives and responsible AI practices.
