Job Description
• Own the company’s growth strategy end-to-end, setting goals, budgets, and roadmaps to drive subscriber acquisition and retention across web and mobile app
• Serve on the leadership team and report directly to the CEO, providing strategic counsel on growth opportunities and market positioning
• Build, manage, and mentor a growth team that currently includes a Performance Marketing Manager, a Product Manager focused on the conversion funnel, a Social Media Specialist, and a Business Analyst
• Oversee a rigorous experimentation roadmap across channels, campaigns, and the product funnel to continuously identify and scale growth levers
• Manage and optimize paid acquisition across Google Ads, Meta, Apple Search Ads, TikTok, and emerging channels to hit CAC and ROAS targets
• Lead expansion into new ad channels and test new strategies (video ads, influencer and affiliate marketing, creator partnerships) to diversify the acquisition mix
• Own the performance marketing budget, allocating resources across channels based on incrementality and strategic priorities
• Develop AI-powered creative testing frameworks in collaboration with designers and copywriters to continuously improve ad performance
• Own the organic growth strategy, including SEO, in close partnership with our Content and Data teams to determine which titles, topics, and content formats will most drive growth
• Develop and evolve our content strategy to maximize organic discovery and engagement across search and other organic channels
• Build and scale lifecycle marketing programs (email, push, in-app) to improve subscriber engagement, retention, and reactivation
• Develop and execute referral and virality programs, bringing experience from building and scaling viral consumer apps and websites
• Pioneer SuperSummary’s partnerships program, including affiliate relationships and strategic partnerships to expand reach and acquisition
• Partner with the Head of Product and Product team on funnel experimentation, pricing and packaging strategy, and conversion optimization across web and mobile
• Run in-depth analyses on engagement, conversion funnel performance, and A/B test results using Amplitude, GA4, Sprig, and ActiveCampaign to identify opportunities for improvement
• Coordinate with our data engineering and data science teams on predictive modeling and advanced analytics projects to inform growth strategy
• Source and manage agencies when appropriate to scale new channels or strategies
• Report on performance to leadership with clear insights and recommendations for optimization
Job Requirements
- 7+ years of growth marketing experience, with significant time in leadership roles at high-growth B2C subscription or content-driven businesses
- Proven track record of building and scaling growth engines across both paid and organic channels, including hands-on expertise with Google Ads and Meta Ads
- Deep experience with SEO strategy, lifecycle marketing (email, push, in-app), and referral/virality programs
- Demonstrated success scaling consumer products across both web and mobile app platforms while maintaining or improving efficiency metrics
- Significant data analysis experience, including the ability to coordinate with data engineering and data science teams on predictive modeling and advanced analytics projects
- Hands-on experience with analytics and experimentation tools such as Amplitude, GA4, Sprig, and marketing automation platforms like ActiveCampaign
- Experience building and scaling viral consumer apps and websites, with a strong understanding of product-led growth mechanics
- Prior experience sourcing and managing agencies to scale new channels or strategies
- Strong design and copywriting sensibility with the ability to develop effective creative strategies alongside content and product teams
- Demonstrated experience leveraging AI for creative production, campaign analysis, and strategic decision-making
- Experience with creator/influencer-driven marketing strategies and partnership development
- Excellent communicator and collaborative leader who thrives in a fully remote environment
- EdTech experience is a strong plus.
