• Help design and scale Courtyard’s accounting function as the company grows • Own core accounting operations including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting • Support and drive the monthly close process and ensure timely and accurate financial statements • Manage key accounting areas such as inventory accounting, marketplace transactions, and subscription based revenue recognition • Partner with product, engineering, and operations teams to support new initiatives and ensure appropriate accounting treatment • Identify opportunities to automate workflows and improve accounting processes using modern tools and AI • Help implement scalable systems, internal controls, and accounting policies as the business evolves • Assist with audits, external reporting, and regulatory compliance requirements • Document accounting policies and procedures to support operational excellence and scalability • Contribute to strategic projects such as system implementations, process redesign, and financial infrastructure improvements • Support FP&A initiatives through financial analysis and operational insights • Help build and mentor the future accounting team as Courtyard continues to grow
