Job Description
• Work directly with the VP of Communications and Brand Marketing and leadership team to determine and set priorities and strategies for the function
• Serve as a strategic partner to leadership team members and advise as needed on segment/ business strategies, planning, and development of processes to enable effective execution across initiatives
• Help drive an engaged and collaborative culture across the function
• Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure team effectiveness and progress against goals
• Support the development and execution of action plans to address gaps and drive continuous improvement
• Lead lean initiatives, including AI adoption
• Establish efficient meeting rhythms and standard work for team
• Develop and drive critical operations including budget and metrics
• Engage in special projects and activation efforts as needed
• Act as a change agent by planning, communicating, and supporting the adoption of new processes, tools, and behaviors
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college, or equivalent knowledge/ experience
- Significant experience in business communications function
- Excellent organizational, project management and problem-solving skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with precise attention to detail
- Adept at managing successful projects in a matrixed corporate environment by building coalitions and driving consensus
- Proven creative, innovative and strategic thinker
- Team player attitude with ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Positive, flexible, team-oriented attitude
- Self-starter
- Problem-solver who proactively identifies problems, works collaboratively to find solutions, and develops and executes action plans to drive impact across an organization
- Balances innovation with standard work rigor
- Strong project management and process improvement skills
