Role Description

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Deputy Legal Director - REMOTE. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in advancing social justice through high-impact civil rights litigation. You will lead a growing team and ensure that legal work meets the highest standards. Your contributions will also shape the strategic direction of the legal docket and strengthen partnerships with various stakeholders.   • Lead and manage complex civil rights cases from strategy to settlement.
  • Supervise and mentor attorneys and legal staff to ensure high-quality legal work.
  • Collaborate with the Legal Director on strategic litigation priorities.

  • Assist in managing client relationships and partnerships.

Qualifications

  • J.D. from an accredited law school and admission to the bar in any U.S. state.
  • 10+ years of experience in civil rights or complex civil litigation.
  • Track record of supervising legal teams and managing litigation.
  • Exceptional legal research, writing, and advocacy skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and cases simultaneously.
  • Strong commitment to social justice and civil rights.
  • Excellent interpersonal and team-building skills.
