Role Description
This role offers a unique opportunity to lead the visual design and creative strategy across product, packaging, and visual merchandising initiatives. You will drive the creation of compelling, on-brand assets that resonate with consumers and elevate the overall brand experience. As the head of graphic design, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, product, and retail to ensure designs are cohesive, innovative, and aligned with business objectives. This position is fully remote and provides a fast-paced, creative environment where you can shape the visual identity of a growing, high-impact consumer brand. Your work will directly influence how customers experience products and interact with the brand in the marketplace.
- Lead the design and execution of brand-aligned creative assets across product packaging, visual merchandising, marketing materials, press-on nail designs, event collateral, and other channels.
- Collaborate with creative, product, marketing, and retail teams to translate business objectives into visually compelling solutions.
- Maintain high brand standards and ensure quality, consistency, originality, and cohesion across all creative outputs.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and ensuring accuracy for all design deliverables.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to design team members, fostering creativity and professional growth.
- Use project management tools to track design progress, coordinate workflows, and maintain organized deliverables.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3+ years of professional graphic design experience (in-house, agency, or freelance).
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic or Product Design (BFA/BA).
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and strong 3D rendering skills for product packaging and visual merchandising.
- Experience with Figma or similar visualization tools.
- Strong typography, layout, branding, and visual hierarchy skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills across creative and cross-functional teams.
- Experience using project management software such as Asana, Monday, or Workfront.
- Positive, detail-oriented, and flexible mindset with a passion for the beauty industry.
