Role Description

This role is pivotal in shaping the strategies for health economics and outcomes research within the therapeutic area. You will drive the execution of research initiatives, develop value propositions for products, and strengthen market access strategies. Through collaboration with cross-functional teams, you will leverage your expertise to optimize decision-making processes and drive innovative solutions that benefit both patients and healthcare providers. Your contributions will enhance the overall effectiveness of product commercialization efforts across their lifecycle.

  • Represent HEOR function in Medical Strategy Teams to develop integrated evidence plans (IEPs).
  • Proactively generate and communicate evidence to optimize patient access to products.
  • Ensure research is conducted with high scientific rigor.
  • Publish and present research accomplishments at conferences.
  • Effectively partner with internal stakeholders to shape research partnerships.
  • Manage multiple HEOR projects and budgets while ensuring alignment with stakeholders.
  • Build robust external partnerships as needed.

Qualifications

  • An advanced degree (master’s or doctorate) in health economics, epidemiology, or a related field.
  • Preferred: PhD or PharmD with a focus in Health Economics or Public Health.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the pharma or healthcare sector in related functions.
  • Expert knowledge of Health Economics, Outcomes Research, and Real-World Evidence.
  • Strong analytical skills and familiarity with economic modeling methods.
