Role Description
Seeking a highly experienced and professional Senior Employee Benefits Account Manager to join a niche agency specializing in employee benefits. This fully remote position offers the opportunity to work with large, self-funded employee benefits accounts, averaging 4,000 employees. As a key member of the team, you will act as an extension of the clients' HR and Finance departments, providing exceptional relationship-based service.
- Manage a book of business consisting of three to five large employee benefits accounts, each with 2,000+ group lives
- Conduct one to two client meetings per week, focusing on relationship-based servicing
- Act as a trusted advisor and extension of clients' HR and Finance departments
- Handle quoting for new and renewal business as needed
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery
- Provide expert guidance on self-funded employee benefits plans
Qualifications
- Life and Health Insurance License required; CEBS designation preferred
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in employee benefits account management (10+ years preferred)
- Proficiency in BenefitPoint software
- Professional demeanor
- Strong communication skills
- Tactful and diplomatic
- Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
- Detail-oriented and organized

- Must reside in Washington or Oregon
- Some travel required

- Salary Range: $95,000 to $150,000 annually
