Role Description

We are seeking a Principal Security Architect to serve as the organization’s most senior individual contributor for security architecture and technical risk translation. This role converts security risk posture into practical, scalable architectural decisions that enable delivery while reducing material exposure. The selected candidate will translate risk reality into architectural guardrails and resolve complex cross-domain trade-offs.

Main Responsibilities

• Own enterprise security architecture principles
• Act as final technical authority on architecture decisions
• Define reusable security control patterns
• Partner with risk leadership on posture alignment
• Advise senior leadership on architectural risk

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) desired in Computer Science or Cybersecurity
• 7+ years of related experience
• CISSP or CISM certification is desired but not mandatory
• 3+ years of direct experience in one or more of:
• Microsoft Active Directory
• Microsoft Entra ID
• Zscaler
• Tenable
• Google Cloud Platform

Compensation

This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors.

Location Based Pay Ranges: $145,000 - $220,000
