Role Description

This role involves creating impactful images and publications aligned with CHD style and messaging.

  • Design and produce print and digital materials, including brochures, flyers, reports, publications, presentations, and other visual assets
  • Apply organizational brand standards to ensure consistency in typography, layout, color, and overall visual identity
  • Assist in translating complex or technical concepts into clear, accurate visual formats
  • Collaborate with the Digital Media Manager and Marketing and Communications team to develop concepts and refine deliverables
  • Revise designs based on feedback while maintaining alignment with project goals
  • Format and edit text within layouts to support clarity and readability
  • Research images, references, and supporting visual materials for design projects
  • Prepare files for print and digital distribution
  • Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Maintain organized project files and documentation
  • Participate in meetings and contribute to team collaboration
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
  • Attend meetings and events as required
  • Respond to calls, emails and text communications in a timely manner
  • All other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years experience in graphic design (personal branding, sponsorships, etc.) with a proven track record of successful campaigns
  • Possess in-depth knowledge of CHD and how we fit into the health freedom movement
  • Strong knowledge of our foundational pillars (Advocacy, Education, Litigation, & Science)
  • Consistent availability, during core business hours, for collaboration and editing of media
  • Adobe Creative Suite proficiency
  • Availability for ET working hours

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (or Associate’s degree/certificate) in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field is preferred
  • At least 2 years of professional (for a public company or non-profit) graphic design experience is preferred; however, exceptional candidates with less experience or strong self-taught portfolios demonstrating the required skills and aesthetic alignment will be seriously considered
