Role Description
Peraton is seeking a Subcontracts Manager to support our National Aerospace Solutions Sector. The Manager will be responsible for the following:
- Oversee the uniform implementation of subcontract requests for proposal, subcontractor cost and/or price analysis, subcontract negotiations, subcontract administration and modifications.
- Provide interpretation of subcontract related documents to program personnel and Sector leadership as necessary.
- Assist during DCAA/DCMA Procurement audits.
- Develop solutions for complex procurement problems affecting company compliance and ensures satisfaction of legal requirements, federal regulation and public law, customer objectives, and ethical business standards.
- Provide subcontract group support for prime proposals to Government customer.
- Act as liaison between subcontractors, Subcontracts department and technical personnel to ensure supplier performance.
- Provide input and assist in small business subcontract reporting as necessary.
- Work with Contracts, Subcontracts, Procurement and Corporate Subcontracts to help develop department policies and procedures.
- Participate in cross functional planning and implementation for projects and programs.
- Interface with accounts payable for the timely payment of Subcontractor invoices and invoice resolution as necessary.
- Manage a team consisting of subcontract administrators and subcontract program managers.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience working in supply chain functions including supplier selection/competition, negotiation and procurement planning for on-program work.
- 4+ years of supervisory experience specifically in a subcontracts role.
- Proven skills in preparation, negotiation, execution and interpretation of various subcontract types: firm fixed price (FFP), time & material (T&M), cost plus award fee (CPAF), cost plus fixed fee (CPFF), cost plus incentive fee (CPIF) and master level agreements (IDIQ, BPA, MSA).
- Strong understanding of FAR.
- Experience with demonstrating strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Experience utilizing strong written and verbal skills.
- Experience in demonstrating success in efficiencies to customer and/or internal projects through targeted supplier engagement.
- Experience with Costpoint for PO setup and maintenance.
- Experience with Cognos Reporting for reconciliation of Supplier invoices and PO management.
- Experience with Beeline for Supplier resource management.
- Ability to obtain a Public Trust security clearance.

Target Salary Range
$104,000 - $166,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
