Giles Law, PLLC is seeking a motivated Contract Commercial Litigation Attorney to join our dynamic legal team in Phoenix. This flexible, hybrid role offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced litigator to leverage their persuasive advocacy skills and strategic thinking while managing complex civil matters.
- Work independently on high-impact assignments
- Craft compelling legal arguments and contribute meaningful insights to case strategy
- Draft pleadings, motions, memoranda, and other legal documents
- Conduct legal research and analyze case law relevant to litigation strategy
- Assist with discovery, including drafting and responding to written discovery
- Review documents, evidence, and case materials to support case development
- Prepare for depositions, hearings, and mediations
- Contribute to case strategy discussions with the litigation team
- Identify legal issues, risks, and opportunities within assigned matters
- Meet deadlines and manage assignments independently while collaborating with the team
- Communicate professionally with attorneys, staff, and, when appropriate, clients
Qualifications
- Licensed and in good standing with the Arizona State Bar
- Minimum of 3 years of civil litigation experience (more experienced candidates encouraged to apply)
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
- Ability to manage assignments independently and meet deadlines
- Professional judgment and attention to detail
- Experience with Arizona courts, procedures, and rules
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with a legal team
- Experience preparing for depositions, hearings, or trial is a plus
- Familiarity with litigation technology and case management systems preferred
- Experience with complex civil or commercial litigation matters is beneficial
