Role Description
We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager who can lead from the front—driving performance, developing talent, and building systems that consistently produce results. This role requires strong leadership, analytical skills, and the ability to use data and technology to improve sales execution.
- Motivate, coach, and hold the sales team accountable to monthly, quarterly, and annual targets
- Set clear performance expectations and track individual and team KPIs
- Conduct regular performance reviews, call reviews, and coaching sessions
- Create a culture of ownership, urgency, and continuous improvement
- Train and onboard new sales team members
- Provide ongoing coaching and skill development for current team members
- Create and maintain training materials, playbooks, and scripts
- Identify performance gaps and implement targeted training plans
- Manage and optimize sales processes from lead to close
- Use Excel to create and maintain reports, dashboards, and forecasts
- Track pipeline activity, conversion rates, and revenue metrics
- Prepare clear reports for leadership and management
- Manage and maintain CRM systems to track leads, prospects, and deals
- Ensure accurate data entry and reporting across the team
- Monitor lead flow and follow-up activity
- Leverage technology to improve productivity and visibility
- Coordinate with marketing on lead generation and campaign performance
- Monitor lead quality and conversion metrics
- Provide feedback to improve lead flow and targeting
Qualifications
- Minimum 3+ years of experience managing a sales or sales support team
- Proven ability to build, motivate, and manage high-performing teams
- Strong coaching, accountability, and leadership skills
- Proficiency in Excel (reporting, tracking, analysis)
- Hands-on experience with CRM platforms and sales technology
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized with strong time-management abilities
Preferred Skills (Bonus, Not Required)
- Experience in digital sales, services, or coaching/consulting environments
- Background in inside sales or performance-based sales teams
- Experience scaling teams or improving underperforming departments
Requirements
Compensation: $70,000–$110,000+ Total Compensation (Base + Performance Bonuses) Based on experience and results.
