Job Description
Role Description
This role involves ensuring the quality of our technology stack as a Junior QA Engineer. You will play a crucial part in performing foundational testing tasks under the guidance of senior QA members.
- Ownership of core manual testing tasks, including writing and executing basic manual test cases
- Performing manual regression testing
- Meticulously documenting test execution, bugs, and contributing to process documentation
- Collaborate with Senior QA Engineers or product owners to create and update test cases in TestRail for new features and releases
- Assist with exploratory testing on new and existing features, especially regarding partner site testing
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand the software, identify bugs, and document them in the bug tracking system
- Communicate test results and findings to stakeholders, providing regular updates on testing progress and issues
- Learn and experiment with new testing methodologies, automation concepts (e.g., Playwright), and AI-assisted tools for test planning
- Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint ceremonies, and QA syncs, providing regular updates on testing progress and issues
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, related field, or equivalent work experience
- Ability to think logically and determine test cases from a project description
- Ability to learn and apply new testing methodologies and tools
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams
- Basic understanding and ability to write code in TypeScript
- No formal QA experience is required, but you must be technically curious, eager to learn, and excited to grow

- Familiarity with manual testing tools and bug tracking systems (e.g., JIRA, TestRail)
- Basic understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies
- Experience developing with Python and Typescript
- Enthusiasm for learning test automation concepts and frameworks (e.g., Playwright)
- Interest in experimenting with AI tools for test planning and productivity
