Role Description
We are currently looking for a Community-led Economies & Finance Director. In this role, you will be pivotal in shaping and executing a strategy that aligns with Indigenous rights, community governance, and economic self-determination. Your expertise will drive innovative financing solutions that support community-led conservation efforts globally.
- Lead the development and execution of Community-led Economies and Finance strategy.
- Collaborate with field programs and partners to advance community-led financial solutions.
- Champion financial models that support long-term funding and economic sovereignty.
- Coordinate efforts across integrated conservation finance projects.
- Uphold rights-based approaches and community engagement in financial frameworks.
- Serve as a thought leader in community-led economies and finance for the organization.
Qualifications
- Expertise in community finance, conservation finance, and economic development.
- Proven leadership experience in designing and implementing impactful strategies.
- Strong understanding of Indigenous rights and community governance.
- Ability to navigate complex organizational structures and build strategic partnerships.
- Excellent communication skills with stakeholders at various levels.
- Master’s Degree in relevant field with 5+ years of experience.
