Role Description
In this role, you will…
- Manage a team of employees responsible for reviewing contractor bids and coordinating property preservation activity with investors, insurers and clients.
- Maintain strong focus on daily production (staff outflow) and pipeline management (volume inflow).
- Responsible for contributing to the hiring process, interviewing and disciplinary action.
- Coordinate processes and build strong working relationships across teams.
- Respond to audit and non-compliance issues as discovered and presented by management.
- Assign work to staff when needed.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
- Ability to excel in a high-impact position with fast-paced, deadline driven environment required.
- Prefer 1-2 years management experience.
- Prefer 1-2 years property claims experience, property preservation experience or construction knowledge.
- Knowledge of property management, construction, and property insurance preferred.
- Undergraduate degree preferred.
- Proficiency using third party estimating software, common to the insurance industry.
- Ability to interpret, comprehend, and apply company and/or client specifications, guidelines and processes.
- Ability to navigate and research using available resources including the Internet.
- High level of organization and attention to detail.
- Ability to successfully multitask and maintain a positive attitude in a high pressure, high production and volume team environment.
- Strong PC skills, typing, and Microsoft Office proficiency required.
- Completion of client registration guidelines and business rules, user review guide, classroom training, system training, and side by side training required.
