Role Description
The Proposal and Enablement Manager ensures that the organization focuses its efforts on qualified opportunities where our value proposition and key differentiators position us for a good likelihood of success.
The Proposal and Enablement Manager qualifies RFPs and project manages Doxim’s responses to ensure high-quality, on-time submissions. This includes RFPs for new business opportunities as well as customer renewals. The role partners with Product Management, Solutions Engineering, and Marketing—who develop most content and deliver training—and leverages the enablement portal to coordinate and deliver engaging, scalable learning experiences for both new and existing employees.
- Reviewing and working on RFP's as they come in to assess their suitability
- Arranging kick-off calls with key stakeholders
- Managing the RFP Response process:
- Assigning questions to subject matter experts
- Setting deadlines for when content needs to be completed
- Assisting in writing certain aspects of the RFP, along with conducting final proof reading and editing of RFP's so they sound like they are coming from 'one voice' before submission
- Ensuring RFP's are submitted on time
- Administering our RFP proposal management software solution – Responsive
- Updating the RFP Library with relevant content that can be used in future RFP responses
- Updating SalesForce.com with the status of RFPs (in flight, won, lost etc)
- Coordinating and leading the debrief process following RFP submissions
- Developing and implementing initiatives to improve the RFP process
Qualifications
- Strong writing skills and will ensure Doxim’s proposals meet the highest business standards-fine tuning contributions from other stakeholders for proposals
- Demonstrated expertise in the customer management communications industry
- Experience with partnering and empowering Go to Market Team with up-to-date content, product, industry data and training
- Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Deep understanding of modern sales methodologies
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and propose innovative solutions
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including Sales, Customer Success and Marketing
