Job Description
• Define and own the NA Quality & Commissioning strategy , standards, and playbooks (Cx Plans, ITPs, test scripts, IST procedures, turnover packages)
• Establish governance cadences (readiness reviews, defect triage, KPI reporting) and enforce documentation quality for traceable, auditable turnover to Operations
• Create program KPIs (e.g., ITP pass rates, defect density, retest cycles, schedule adherence) and drive continuous improvement loops across active projects
• Orchestrate L1–L5 commissioning (component through IST) and witness critical milestones; ensure prerequisite readiness (FAT/SAT, startup, protections, interlocks, alarming, trending) for safe, effective testing
• Oversee third-party Cx Agents and vendors; manage scope, performance, and closeout deliverables against Vantage standards and local codes
• Drive QA/QC integration with construction: spot audits, punchlist zero strategy, redline/as-built accuracy, and evidence-based compliance for MEP, EPMS/BMS, generators, UPS, switchgear, chillers/cooling plants, and containment
• Align commissioning with design intent and operability: participate in design reviews; maintain interface control across electrical, mechanical, controls, life safety, and low-voltage systems
• Partner with D&E, Construction, Operations, and Security to protect critical path and deliver predictable, compliant handovers that meet business objectives
• Coordinate with Procurement/Contracts on Cx scope, RFPs, change orders and risk registers; ensure lessons learned are captured and propagated
• Build and mentor a high-performing QCx team (managers and program leads), developing technical depth in commissioning safety, method statements/MOPs/SOPs, and operations training at turnover
• Act as an ambassador of Quality, Safety and Commissioning best practices; model Vantage values of trust, accountability, respect and agility.
