We are seeking a Supply Chain Analytics Consultant with strong experience in the Retail or Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry. The role focuses on leveraging data and analytics to generate insights that support strategic decision-making across supply chain operations.
The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders and analytics teams to analyze large datasets, uncover operational insights, and deliver data-driven solutions that improve supply chain efficiency, forecasting accuracy, and overall business performance.
Requirements
- Analyze large datasets using SQL and Python to extract insights and support data-driven decision-making within supply chain operations.
- Conduct data exploration and analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities across supply chain functions such as demand planning, inventory management, logistics, and distribution.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.
- Develop analytical models and frameworks to address business challenges and improve operational efficiency in Retail/CPG supply chains.
- Create clear presentations and reports to communicate insights, findings, and recommendations to business stakeholders and leadership.
- Build and maintain data dashboards and visualizations using tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Contribute to data-driven strategies and analytics initiatives to improve forecasting, supply chain performance, and revenue management outcomes.
- Stay updated with industry trends, analytics tools, and emerging technologies relevant to the Retail/CPG and supply chain domains.
Job Requirements
- 5–8 years of experience in analytics, data consulting, or related roles.
- Strong Supply Chain domain knowledge with experience in Retail or Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industries.
- Hands-on experience with SQL for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
- Proficiency in Python for data analysis and visualization (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib).
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Understanding of supply chain processes, including demand forecasting, inventory optimization, logistics, and distribution.
- Knowledge of cloud-based data platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is a plus.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to translate complex analytical findings into actionable business insights.
