Role Description
The IT@JH Enterprise Directory and Messaging team is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Enterprise Directory & Infrastructure Services Intern to support projects and daily operational tasks across Active Directory, Azure, Windows Server, and PowerShell-based automation. This role will gain hands-on experience working with server administration and automation.
- Assist with Active Directory, Entra ID, and Windows Server administration, including user/group management, server builds, and environment maintenance.
- Support cloud and infrastructure projects such as Azure virtual machine deployment, migrations, and system configuration.
- Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate administrative and operational tasks.
- Perform daily operational activities including system updates, troubleshooting, documentation, and monitoring.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or graduation equivalent. Some college.
- Some experience.
- Additional education may substitute for required experience, and additional related experience may substitute for required education beyond a high school diploma/graduation equivalent, to the extent permitted by the JHU equivalency formula.
