Job Description

• Own and execute the full-cycle sales process for net-new grocery retailers • Prospect and penetrate regional and enterprise grocery chains across the Central and East U.S. • Develop territory strategy with your target account lists, and multi-threaded outreach plans • Identify and engage C-suite stakeholders • Identify key decision makers and develop action plans to deepen client relationships • Develop and implement strategic account plans to maximize revenue potential and ensure long-term customer success • Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor for retailers looking to enhance their digital capabilities • Conduct high-impact sales presentations and product demonstrations to key decision-makers • Leverage sales data and market insights to identify opportunities for expansion and optimize sales strategies • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product, and customer success teams to ensure smooth onboarding and ongoing engagement with clients • Accurately forecast and report on sales performance, maintaining pipeline visibility in Salesforce • Develop an intimate understanding of Swiftly’s business and our clients using a variety of sources • Other related duties as assigned

Job Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in grocery retail, retail media, adtech, or digital advertising sales
  • Proven success in new logo acquisition within the grocery or retail ecosystem
  • Deep understanding of: Regional and enterprise grocery operators, Loyalty platforms and first-party data, Retail media networks (onsite & offsite), and/or Digital circular & promotional ecosystems
  • Demonstrated ability to sell into executive leadership
  • Strong negotiation, business case development, and closing skills
  • Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles
  • Proficiency in Salesforce and sales forecasting tools
  • Ability to work independently and adapt in a high-growth, dynamic environment
  • Strong listening, questioning, presentation, and negotiation skills ‐ outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Disciplined time management and ability to work under pressure in a cross functional environment
  • Advanced computer software proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Salesforce)
  • High level of expertise in analyzing information and making information-based recommendations
