Role Description

The Training and Sales Development Manager plays a critical leadership role in developing, launching, and accelerating the success of new Financial Representatives. This role leads the strategy and execution of training, coaching, and development programs that support Financial Representative Trainees from pre-launch through their first year in the field.

  • Lead the development, execution, and continuous improvement of the Financial Representative (FR) launch process, including pre and post launch training and coaching.
  • Coordinate and execute launch operations for Financial Representative Trainees (FRTs), partnering closely with FRTs, Field Development Supervisors (FDS), and Regional Managing Directors (RMDs) to ensure launch readiness and graduation decisions.
  • Design and implement post launch training and development strategies to accelerate early productivity and long term success of new financial representatives.
  • Provide leadership to the field development team, overseeing coaching delivery, performance management, and the development of a highly engaged and accountable workforce.
  • Partner with Field and Home Office leadership to align development efforts, enhance launch curriculum effectiveness, and drive activity, productivity, and relationship-building across the field.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of agency distribution sales, field marketing strategies, and general business operations.
  • Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into clear, practical guidance.
  • Proven ability to build effective relationships through excellent human relations and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in training, facilitation, and creative or technical business writing.
  • Ability to travel up to 10%, including occasional overnight travel.

  • Able to work remotely with access to a high-speed internet connection and located in the United States or Puerto Rico.

  • Base Salary: $65,000- $75,000, plus commission.
  • 401(k) plan with a 2% company contribution and 6% company match.
