The Groove is looking for an experienced Workday Advanced Compensation Consultant to join our growing team. In this client-facing role, you’ll lead and support Workday Advanced Compensation implementations, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and deliver solutions that help organizations reward and retain top talent.

Responsibilities:
Lead Advanced Compensation Projects: Drive end-to-end implementations of Workday Advanced Compensation, including design, configuration, testing, and deployment.
Partner with Clients: Serve as a strategic advisor during discovery, design, and deployment phases, helping clients align compensation programs with business goals.
Configure & Optimize: Design and build scalable Workday compensation solutions, including merit, bonus, and stock plans, ensuring a seamless user experience.
Facilitate Workshops & Training: Lead client-facing sessions, provide training and documentation, and support knowledge transfer to internal teams.
Ensure Data Accuracy & Compliance: Support compensation planning cycles and ensure configurations align with internal policies and external compliance requirements.
Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with Engagement Managers, HCM leads, and clients to deliver high-quality solutions on time and on budget.
Support Testing & Troubleshooting: Assist in test planning and execution, resolve configuration issues, and recommend process improvements.
Build Strong Relationships: Act as a trusted partner to clients throughout the project lifecycle and beyond.
Skills and Requirements
Workday Expertise: 3+ years of hands-on experience with Workday Advanced Compensation (merit, bonus, and/or stock), including full-cycle implementations.
Client-Facing Experience: Strong ability to manage stakeholders, gather requirements, and present solutions with clarity and confidence.
Analytical Mindset: Ability to translate business requirements into effective, scalable system configurations.
Project Experience: Experience managing multiple projects or workstreams in a dynamic, consulting environment.
Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Team Player: Collaborative, adaptable, and eager to contribute to team and company success.
Tools Proficiency: Comfortable using Workday reporting tools and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and PowerPoint).
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR, Information Systems, or a related field.
Travel: Willingness to travel as needed to support client engagements (up to 50%).
