POSITION: ERP Business Analyst - Order Management (9973419)
JOB LOCATION: 10353 Richmond Avenue, Houston, TX 77042 [and various unanticipated locations throughout the US; may telecommute]
ERP Business Analyst - Order Management needed by National Oilwell Varco, L.P. in Houston, TX [and various unanticipated locations throughout the US; may telecommute] to facilitate and improve communication between business and technical teams. Provide recommendations to address and resolve business issues. Identify and recommend business process improvements. Research client needs, gather requirements, create design documents, and perform impact analysis for application changes. Plan and organize tasks and track and report progress. Develop strategic solutions by leveraging Oracle application functionality across Order Management, GTM, Quoting, Pricing, and related business objects. Translate business requirements into actionable designs and deliverables and work within existing systems to track and manage issues. Create test plans, test cases, and test scripts and perform functional testing. Configure and modify application settings as required including system setups, flexfields, workflow builder, custom libraries, profile options, etc. Apply Oracle application experience across Order-to-Cash modules including Order Management, Customer Master, TCA, Workflow, Advanced Pricing, and GTM. Prepare and maintain implementation documentation. Apply knowledge underlying Oracle ERP applications database architecture as well as Oracle database and development tools including PL/SQL, SQL Plus, Forms, and Reports. Apply experience with Oracle Fusion Applications including at least two full end-to-end implementation lifecycles.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Requires a Bachelor degree, or foreign equivalent degree, in Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, or Business Administration and 5 years of progressive, postbaccalaureate experience in the job offered, or 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in a related occupation applying Oracle application experience across Order-to-Cash modules including Order Management, Customer Master, TCA, Workflow, Advanced Pricing, and GTM; preparing and maintaining implementation documentation; applying knowledge underlying Oracle ERP applications database architecture as well as Oracle database and development tools including PL/SQL, SQL Plus, Forms, and Reports; and applying experience with Oracle Fusion Applications including at least two full end-to-end implementation lifecycles.
