Job Description
Role Description
We are seeking a highly motivated professional for an 8-month fixed-term role to provide support in Senior Accounting, with a focus on financial reporting, including internal reporting and financial statement preparation.
- Contribute to a range of financial reporting and compliance activities based on business needs.
- Ideal candidates will have experience in government accounting, nonprofit gift accounting, and indirect rate reporting.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage workflow efficiently
- Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy
- Skilled in researching issues and performing troubleshooting as needed
- Experience in nonprofit accounting strongly preferred
- Familiarity with charitable giving accounting rules a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills and experience handling large data sets
- Experience with Workday ERP a plus

- CPA a plus
- Minimum 3-year financial experience

Salary Range
$75,700 - $112,400
RAND considers a variety of factors when formulating an offer, including but not limited to, the specific role and associated responsibilities; a candidate’s work experience, education/training, skills, expertise; and internal equity. The salary range includes base pay plus RAND’s sabbatic pay (which provides additional compensation above base pay when vacation is taken). In addition, RAND provides strong benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, paid time-off and more.
