Job Description

• Partner with business stakeholders to identify, evaluate and qualify new and existing suppliers; advise requestors with respect to contract terms and conditions • Conduct market and supplier analyses, leveraging category expertise to develop sourcing strategies aligned with market trends, roadmaps and business objectives • Conduct RFX and lead cross functional teams through supplier selection with effective scoring criteria to critically evaluate supplier proposals in accordance with company policies • Lead negotiations for Master Agreements, Statements of Work, Change Orders, Order Form balancing business deliverables, legal interests and pricing • Develop along with the stakeholders and implement a comprehensive sourcing strategy • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to assess and understand their needs, requirements and project timelines • Develop Negotiation Plans and Strategies to optimize cost savings, cost avoidance, and overall value optimization • Manage supplier relationships with focus on supply/contract and cost management • Mediate supplier issues and resolve customer / supplier contract disputes if necessary • Lead and participate in periodic business reviews with vendors to review performance and support mutually agreed upon improvement programs as required • Develop supplier rationalization entitlements for each category

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with 7+ of experience in indirect strategic sourcing with a multi-national organization with an emphasis IT Services
  • MBA or JD preferred
  • Contract Negotiation / Vendor Mgmt. / Influencing skills required
  • Experience and expertise with sourcing & contracting ERP tools (SAP and/or Oracle)
