Job Description
Job Requirements
- 2–4 years of experience in technical sales, solution engineering, accounting software support, or nonprofit financial operations.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, finance, information systems, or related field.
- Strong understanding of nonprofit fund accounting concepts (e.g., restricted vs. unrestricted funds, grant tracking, budget controls, audit readiness, compliance requirements).
- Experience with MIP Fund Accounting or competing nonprofit financial systems (e.g., Blackbaud Financial Edge, Sage Intacct, AccuFund).
- Familiarity with related systems or functional areas: Grant Management, Payroll / HRIS / HRMS / HCM, Time & Attendance, Budget Management, Requisition / Purchase Order / Procurement workflows, Fundraising / Donor Management Systems, Learning Management Systems (LMS).
- Experience supporting or working within nonprofit, association, health center, local government, municipality, Native Nation, or K–12 environments.
- Proficiency in Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Ability to learn and master new software quickly.
- Familiarity with financial software, reporting tools, and integrations.
