Job Description
• Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services for voice-enabled and conversational AI products
• Integrate and optimize speech-to-text (STT), text-to-speech (TTS), and NLP/LLM pipelines
• Collaborate closely with ML, Voice UX, and Product teams to bring AI-driven voice features to life
• Own backend APIs, data flows, and service orchestration for voice interactions
• Improve system performance, reliability, observability, and cost efficiency
• Contribute to architectural decisions and long-term platform strategy
Job Requirements
- 6+ years of professional backend engineering experience
- Strong proficiency in one or more backend languages (e.g. Python, Go, Java, Scala, or Node.js)
- Experience building distributed systems, APIs, and event-driven architectures
- Solid understanding of databases (SQL and NoSQL), caching, and message queues/streams
- Strong system design skills with a focus on scalability and reliability
