Strategic Partnerships Executive I - Broadband (Account Executive I)

Position Overview:

  • Openings: Two full-time positions
  • Location: Fully Remote (United States)
  • Reports to: Sales Manager

Mission Telecom is seeking a Strategic Partnership Executive I (Account Executive I) to support the expansion of our nationwide broadband services. This role focuses on sales, relationship development, and customer experience, building partnerships with nonprofits, schools, libraries, and social service organizations.

You will manage the full sales cycle, including:

  • Outbound prospecting
  • Relationship building
  • Account management
  • Partner onboarding support

We are looking for individuals who are curious, personable, resilient, and motivated by meaningful work.

Telecom experience is not required; however strong communicators and relationship builders are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales & Business Development: Conduct outbound prospecting via phone, email, and networking to identify new partners. Maintain daily outreach activity including 80–100 outbound calls while building relationships with nonprofits, schools, and libraries.
  • Account Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned partners. Build strong relationships, conduct account check-ins, and identify opportunities for growth and referrals.
  • Customer Experience: Ensure a positive partner experience throughout the sales and onboarding process. Address questions or issues quickly and gather feedback to improve service delivery.
  • Partner Support: Guide partners through onboarding and help them maximize the value of Mission Telecom’s services. Coordinate with internal teams to resolve technical or service needs.
  • Cross-Team Collaboration: Work with marketing, product, and customer support teams to align partnership efforts and share market insights.
  • Events & Outreach: Represent Mission Telecom at conferences and industry events to build relationships and expand awareness of our broadband solutions. Occasional travel required.
  • Sales Tracking & Reporting: Maintain accurate outreach and pipeline activity in CRM systems such as Salesforce. Monitor performance metrics and share insights with leadership.

 

To do this work you will need:

  • 3–5 years of experience in sales, partnerships, business development, or relationship management
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to confidently engage with new people and build trust quickly
  • Comfortable conducting high-volume outbound outreach
  • Self-motivated with strong time-management skills
  • Experience using CRM tools (Salesforce, Apollo, or similar)
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment
  • Eligible Locations: Applicants must reside in one of the following states: AZ, CO, CT, GA, KY, MD, NY, PA, TX

Salary and Benefits:

  • Annual salary of $70,000 - $80,000
  • Fully paid medical, dental, vision, short/long term disability and life/AD&D insurance
