Job Description
Role Description
The CAS is the primary customer contact for all questions, concerns, and issues. Working with all functional areas of the company, the CAS ensures customer requirements are met, while meeting the corporate goals and objectives.
- Ensure customer orders are processed timely and accurately
- Monitor customer order patterns and service levels
- Take necessary action to implement improvements as needed
- Collaborate with sales and other functional areas to grow relationships with customers
Qualifications
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing
- Strong decision making and analytical skills
- Basic Computer Skills
- PC experience with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word preferred
- Basic understanding of JDE system as it pertains to Customer Service/Sales order Management
- Demonstrates appropriate interpersonal skills as well as customer service skills in fast-paced environment
- Detail oriented, strong organizational and time management skills
- Previous Customer Service Account experience in manufacturing or technical industry preferred
- Understand ISO and auditing processes
- College degree or relevant work experience required
- This may be considered a remote position with travel for initial training
Requirements
- Process customer orders received according to established department policies and procedures
- Build and maintain professional relationships with internal and external departments to track orders through completion and on time shipments
- Process complaints upon receipt forwarding through appropriate channels for investigation, resolution, and credit if applicable
- Manage short pay process; resolve issues in efficient and timely manner
- Respond to customers inquiries (internal and external) in a timely and accurate manner
- Adhere to all Safety, Company Policy and General Work rules
- Perform other related duties as assigned
