Role Description
Under the direction of Vice President of Global Sales, prospects and develops new business development and achieve sales growth with existing customers. This position may be home office based if the individual lives near a major airport as travel will be required to maintain customer relations and solicit new business.
- Achieve new business development and existing customer sales growth goals set by Vice President of Global Sales.
- Build and maintain a prospect pipeline with qualified and scalable opportunities.
- Develop and present customized presentations for prospects.
- Travel to trade shows, in person presentations and prospect plant tours.
- Convert prospects to existing customers to achieve sales goals.
- Create and achieve the yearly sales budget for each existing customer.
- Execute sales growth strategies to achieve budgeted sales expectations.
- Travel to customers quarterly for innovation presentations, business reviews and overall relationship building.
- Weekly reporting to VP of Global Sales on sales budget progress and open projects.
- Keep current on competitive, technical and product information.
- Responsible for other activities or duties assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with at least 3 years experience sales background. Experience in the nutritional supplement industry is preferred.
- Professional verbal and written communication skills.
- 30% or more of travel required.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Must be self-motivated, multi-tasking and able to prioritize workload.
- Computer literate in MS Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint.

- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop and kneel; talk and hear.
- The employee is frequently required to sit and stand.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust and focus.
- Lifting requirement: Up to 30 pounds.

Work Environment
This position is a remote position that requires the employee to work remotely from their home or location of choice. The employee will need to ensure that they have the proper remote workstation that is set up ergonomically and ensures productivity. The employee is required to visit the company’s physical location for certain onsite meetings or events.
