Role Description

We are seeking two energetic, relationship-driven Community Outreach Specialist (Part Time) to help connect families with high-quality public charter school options across Washington, DC. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys meeting new people, working in the community, and making a meaningful impact in children’s lives.

• Canvass neighborhoods and community spaces such as daycare centers, aftercare programs, churches, grocery stores, beauty salons, and community events
• Build relationships with local leaders and community partners
• Engage families in warm, authentic conversations about their children’s education
• Share information about school programs, enrollment, and upcoming events
• Collect family contact information and support follow-up communication
• Assist with event outreach and on-site recruitment
• Provide weekly updates on outreach efforts and results
• Collaborate with the Recruitment and Engagement team to meet enrollment goals

Compensation

$20 - $22 an hour
