Role Description

This role leads the development and execution of healthcare professional (HCP) marketing strategies to drive awareness, engagement, and adoption for new product launches. The position balances strategic vision with hands-on execution, translating clinical data, market insights, and prescribing behaviors into impactful campaigns across personal and non-personal channels.

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Sales, Medical Affairs, Digital, and Commercial Operations to ensure cohesive launch execution and optimized field activation.
  • Manage agency partners, budgets, and performance metrics to ensure measurable impact.
  • Travel of up to 20% may be required, including overnight or international trips.
  • Lead the development and execution of HCP brand strategy, integrating clinical data, standards of care, treatment guidelines, and competitive intelligence.
  • Translate insights on segmentation, prescribing behavior, and decision drivers into launch readiness plans and prioritized HCP engagement tactics.
  • Direct the creation and execution of positioning, messaging, creative campaigns, and omnichannel HCP initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Sales Training, Commercial Operations, and Medical Affairs to optimize field and evidence-based engagement.
  • Partner with Patient Marketing and Digital teams to ensure integrated activation across HCP, patient, and digital channels.
  • Manage agency partners, vendor relationships, budgets, and resources to achieve strategic objectives.
  • Establish and monitor performance indicators to assess campaign effectiveness and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Ensure all marketing activities comply with regulatory, legal, and internal standards.

Qualifications

  • MBA or bachelor’s degree with 10+ years of pharmaceutical or biotech experience, including at least 6 years in HCP marketing.
  • Proven ownership of product launch strategy and execution.
  • Experience in cardiovascular and/or chronic care marketing strongly preferred.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide cross-functional teams and agency partners.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in an entrepreneurial or high-growth environment, managing ambiguity and driving results.
  • Resourceful, collaborative, and accountable, with a builder mindset.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 20%, including overnight or international trips.
